Trayvon Martin 911 Audio Tape

This is just very sad. I honestly hope that the guy who killed Trayvon Martin is put to life in prison. The country we live in.

LETTER BY SUPERHEAD TO HER "HUSBAND"

Below is the letter that Superhead posted on her website about her "husband". This is by far the funniest thing ever. Like what was he thinking marrying superhead in the first place.. oh man poor guy. I wonder what he feels like after seeing this.
Sometimes, in relationships, the pleasure is all theirs. Alone, I am a superhero. With you, I am a mere mortal. You deplete me. I’m tired of being your upgrade. We are not equally yoked. You really deserve someone more basic. I’m tired of pretending your mediocracy is okay with me. I’m tired of pretending I don’t miss G650′s. I’m tied of pretending you’re not a burden.I’m tired of pretending I don’t deserve a f-cking BOSS! I’m tired of you driving my car. Stop telling me you love me as if you’re doing me some sort of favor. I don’t need you to love me. I love me. I’m tired of pretending like you shouldn’t be intimidated by the other men in my life. Cuz you should. I’m tired of pretending as if I support your bullshit dreams. I’m tired of pretending your d-ck isn’t the smallest d-ck I’ve ever seen in my life. Cuz it is. I’m tired of pretending your favorite rapper didn’t just beat it up on Friday. I’m tired of paying for everything.
I’m tired of you taking all this sh-t for granted as if you ever deserved any of it. Give me my Mac back. For real tho. I’m tired of washing your wack ass clothes. I hate your whole face. I’m tired of acting like the sex is good.I hate when you roll all the way over onto my side of the bed to hold me. I’m over here for a reason. Did I mention I’m tired of paying for everything? Okay.I’m tired of giving you the game.I’m tired of pretending you’re anything more than a bum. I should’ve just hired you as a cook and kept it moving. I’m tired of congratulating you for accomplishing minuscule sh-t. I’m tired of you begging
I’m tired of moaning when I can’t feel anything!I’m tired of having to think about someone else to get off. I’m tired of having to lock my phone when you’re around.I’m tired of taking showers with you. Can I get a moment! Damn! Yes. He’s better than you. Next question. All night. ‘Til 6 in the morning. Next question.Yes. And I didn’t have to pay for none of it. Next question. Presidential suite. Next question. About 10 inches. Next question.69. Next question. Like a boss. Next question. Balls deep. Next question. I’m tired of having to pretend you’re not the 3rd worst decision I’ve ever made.
You should really be with that one chick who bagged our groceries this weekend. That’s more your speed.

This is literally crazy. A 15,432 lb. shark ... I honestly can't believe that there's a shark that big. This shows that there are many creatures that are out there swimming in the ocean.

YOUNG & SUCCESSFUL: HERDS OF THE FATHERS

Herds of the Fathers
Owners: Tobi & Jason
By: Tayo O.

Herds of the Fathers, the name simply speaks for its self.  This brilliant idea came together when two young, motivated, “Fly” guys decided to share their ideas, love and passion for fashion together. While both attending Rutgers University (NJ), Tobi and Jason have had a big influence within the fashion scene on Campus.  Herds of the Fathers is a “ lifestyle brand that is eager to provide every accessory needed to keep up with the ever-changing gentlemen “. These precise words truly explains the vision and creativity both Tobi and Jason have as the brand owners. Being a designer is not the easiest thing to do in today’s generation because things are always changing so therefore you have to always keep up with what people would like and want.  As Designers and owners of Herds of the Fathers, Tobi and Jason are both very creative individuals and have shown that with their fashion, designs and the best “Herds of the Fathers”. I had the opportunity to interview both Tobi and Jason.

1. What is the concept and meaning behind Herds of the Fathers?
Herds of the Fathers is a company that will eventually provide all the needed accessories for the everyday man. When we were coming up with the name we wanted to create something that would sound relevant 100 years from now. The concept stems from the idea that everyday you live in a group, whether that be at work, school, or your community. That is where "Herds" comes from. Out of these groups, there are people who "help give birth" to everyone else's style. That is the "Fathers" portion of the brand name. Our online store is where these "Fathers" will meet; creating new "Herds"...Herds of the Fathers.

2. What or who inspires you to direct your focus to fashion, why fashion out of all things?
Jason: I think I'm more attracted to the business aspect more so than the fashion aspect of what we do. I always wanted to own something when I was younger, just didn't know what it would be. It took me 21 years of life to finally find something I was kind of good at. We chose leather accessories because we felt we could create things that everyone could wear, no matter your preference in clothing or style.

Tobi: I would not say one person drew me into fashion. I can’t even say myself that I am into fashion. I call what we do re-innovation. Taking something that already exists, find a crack, and make it better.

3. How long have you guys (Jason & Tobi) been working together for?
Tobi and I have been working together for about 3 years now

4. Looking down the line, where do you see Herds of the Father as a company?
Jason: Looking down the line, I see our brand being able to stand side by side with any company in the world. I see us opening a design studio where other young minds can come and think of ways to advance the accessory market and the culture in general. I've always dreamed of having my own headquarters where I can come and create all day.

Tobi: With time, I want our craft to get better. Like I say, every company starts from somewhere. Apple or Google did not happen overnight. It took years of hard work and dedication. I am looking for our brand to make progress year after year, continue re-innovating and focusing on the end consumer of our products.

5. If you had the opportunity to work with a designer within the fashion industry who would it be?
Jason: I would work with Nigo from BAPE (A Bathing Ape). I have the most respect for that man and what he was able to build from selling T-shirts at first. Their clothes are more my style and I think we could come up with some crazy concepts.

Tobi: If given the opportunity to work with any designer, I would have to choose my God father Ralph Lauren, because this man gets “it. He forces his own ideas and taste onto consumers. The problem with many brands is this thing we call trend. They feel like if they don’t keep up with the trends of the market, they loose out. They can look at RL, and learn something from him. This man has never waivered with any collection. You can spot a RL shirt from 20 years ago, and I can guarantee it will resemble something in his current collection.

6. What were your college experiences like at Rutgers University?
Jason: I was very social during my college experience. I think I learned more outside of the classroom than I did during lessons from my professors. What a lot of people don't realize is you have to have great people skills to start something like this. You have to be able to have a feel for what people want, even before they know themselves that's what they want.

Tobi: My experience at Rutgers University cant be described in a few words but I really enjoyed my time there. The people I met and the different things I involved myself in has been of help in aiding me to where I am today.

7. Seeing that you guys do enjoy traveling, where are your Top 5 vacation spots?
Jason: I haven't done much traveling. I've never even been outside the country, honestly. I'm hoping this company opens more doors for me. The furthest I've been is Miami and I loved it. It was just a different aura down there. I went on a regular weekend when there wasn't a lot of tourists, not during Spring Break. It was just so chill and carefree. My next destination is California. I think I'll fit right in over there on the West Coast.

Tobi: I wont consider myself as well traveled but I have been to quite a few places. To be honest I don’t have any top 5-destination spots because I have yet to take 5 vacations. School sort of got in the way, but if I had to choose my number one spot, it would have to be Nigeria.

Herds of the Fathers is growing and is having an influence within the fashion industry. Providing its clients with the best products and services, you can expect to see more from Herds of the Fathers.

YOUNG & SUCCESSFUL: DJ De'Lysiosa

In an industry that is dominated by men, a young woman by the name of DJ DeLysiosa has proven that she can stand along with the elites in the DJ industry. Having a passion for music, DJing became something natural for DJ DeLysiosa at a young age. “I started DJing my church events, at block parties they would have and also at the teen and young adult events.” After being able to DJ at church events, DJ DeLysiosa started making mix tapes and CDs for her parents, their friends, as well as her friends just to display her skills.

Word began to spread around and DJ DeLysiosa had the opportunity to host her own radio show at Rutgers University, Rutgers college radio WRSU. “Being a female DJ and having my own show, I used this opportunity to show that not only men can do this but women can do this as well.” Not only did DJ DeLysiosa focus on being a DJ at Rutgers University, she also maintained a high GPA. She has proven she can be a full-time DJ and a educated college student simultaneously. As an inspiring (celebrity)  DJ, DeLysiosa was given the opportunity to intern with one the biggest radio stations on the East coast. “Being able to intern at both KISS FM & HOT 97 was such a blessing. It was one of the best experiences I’ve had in my lifetime.” Not many people get the opportunity to learn with the best in the industry but DJ DeLysiosa took this opportunity as a blessing and motivation to continue her rise to the top!

Aside from being a DJ, DeLysiosa is a senior at Rutgers University, and a mentor. Starting her own mentor group was important to DeLysiosa, she wants to have a positive influence and help others. On a typical day you can catch DJ DeLysioa writing music or brainstorming ideas for future events and opportunities. DJ DeLysioa is now currently a FLEET DJ and has her own radio show airing Tuesdays on 88.7FM/WRSU.ORG. With an ambitious work ethic DJ DeLysiosa definitely will be one of the best in the DJ industry soon! “I do not see DJ as a disc jockey but as distributing journeys.”

Who are your Top 5 DJs of all time?
My top five DJs of all time, this is a tough one, if I had to narrow it down, it would be DJ Cocoa Chanelle, Mister Cee, DJ Red Alert, DJ Kool Herc, Spinderella

You interned at HOT 97 & KISS FM, describe that experience and what will you take from such a great opportunity?
Being able to intern at both KISS FM and HOT 97 was such a blessing. It was one of the best experiences I’ve had in my life thus far. I was able to get an hands on experience and come into contact with celebrities across the board. I took from this experience, confidence, and I can use what I have learned to progress in the career world of what I want to do. The internship put in perspective what exactly I wanted to accomplish in my career and my personal life.

Being a female DJ, what advice can you give to other inspiring female DJs like you?
I’m not going to lie, being a female DJ can be difficult, but it is also very fun. The main advice I give is to never lose you. Once you give your dignity and morale away, you are no longer in touch with your soul and this is when you start going down hill. Don’t opt the easy way out, hard work pays off, trust me. Getting caught up in the “sex sells” gimmick will get you there but you won’t last. Make sure you maintain your faith as well. Without God, I wouldn’t be anyone.

Besides being a DJ what do you enjoy doing? What is a typical day like in the life of DJ DeLysiosa?
Besides being a DJ I enjoy writing. I often write music or brainstorm ideas for future events, or future opportunities to make my life more meaningful, I started my own mentoring group, because I feel that it is my duty as a human being to help others, I am looking to work with Alicia Keys AIDS awareness campaign and other avenues that contributes to helping my community and world.  But before I consider myself to be a radio personality and journalist, I am a daughter, sister, niece and friend. I still attend school, finishing up my last year at Rutgers and I choose to do whatever makes me happy. It is imperative that I smile each and everyday no matter what the obstacle.

If you had the chance to do anything in the world, what would it be?
If I had the chance to do anything in the world I would either be a big radio or TV personality, program director of a big radio station, or editor of a big music magazine. I want to also start a foundation to help young girls and boys find their dreams and help those that are in need. It is my duty to give back. I would also love to travel for the rest of my life.
