Harold Camping invested a lot of time and effort(financially as well as labor wise) recently into informing the world that it would soon come to an end, specifically on May 21st, 2011 at 6pm. It is currently May 22nd, 2011 6pm.
This was not the first time that the "Christian" radio broadcaster had made a false prediction. In 1992 Camping made a prediction that Christ would return on September 6 of 1994.
Unfortunately, many people did not disprove his source of credibility the 2nd time around. People have admitted to quitting their jobs and carelessly spending money on frivolous items.
When will the madness stop? In today's society people tend to obtain rather important information from TV and through the hear say of others. This may be one of the many possible reasons that the United States is viewed by many in such an ignorant manor.
When next will the world "end"? Only time will tell.
