Rapper/Potential mogul Deandre Wade better known as Soulja boy continues to raise eyebrows in hip hop. From his self proclaimed statements such as "I am the best rapper alive" to his antics concerning Kat Stacks, at times one can wonder can Soulja boy really be taken seriously.
Nevertheless young Deandre does not cease to amaze the critics. Soulja boy is set to star in the remake of juice "a mini movie" which will be shot by the director by the name of "Rage". The topic appears to be so controversial because he will be playing bishop, which is the roll Tupac took on in the early 90's.
Many feel Soulja boy is making a mockery of a film which is considered classic by many. Here is what rapper/actor Ice-t had to say on Deandre's recent endeavors:
“At some point somebody gotta stop it, I came out I made some statements….maaan, I don't know. Do you dude, do you. If the masses accept it, it shows you the state we're in[…] Come on man, you think I'd try to remake Pac's movie?”
Soulja boy's response via twitter : "Ice-T mad cuz I pulled up in the 2012 LOL i'm sitting on a red n---a. haha young n---z taking over" Soulja tweeted. "i'm done with this n---a. someone get this guy a hairline asap. If your name is Ice-T you are #losing not #winning better yet you #lost"
As many know Ice-T and Soulja boy are not very fond of each other due to previous discrepancies concerning the state of hip hop.
Time can only tell if Soulja boy's first official movie role will be a success or a failure.
We cant help but ask ourselves what would Pac say?
